Yeah Verizon is a real dick about the whole thing. I either had to pay $700 for my new phone and keep unlimited data, or get the discounted price on my phone and switch to a limited data plan.

But at least as as a departing unlimited customer, you get offered Verizon Max.
You'll get better valued data buckets. Say 6GB for $30 a month, Vs new customers like myself on share everything that pay $80 a month for 6GB.
